Round head bolts feature a button-style head and are primarily used in wood connections. While similar to carriage bolts in appearance, round head bolts do not have a square neck. Since they are mainly used in wood applications, they are not intended for high-strength structural use and are most commonly supplied under the ASTM A307 specification.
Manufacturing
7 Eleven Baseline Bolts manufactures high-quality button head (round head) bolts in diameters ranging from 1/2″ to 1-1/4″, meeting most ASTM, SAE, and AASHTO specifications. We also offer custom manufacturing through special tooling to produce non-standard button head bolts and oversized head dimensions exceeding 1-1/4″, complete with the client’s preferred name and/or logo for branding and identification.
Standard Thread Length
Bolt lengths ≤ 6″: Thread length = (2 X diameter) + 1⁄4”
Bolt lengths > 6″: Thread length = (2 X diameter) + 1⁄2”
