Clipped hardened washers are designed for applications where space is limited and only one side of the washer can be clipped. These washers provide a smooth and reliable bearing surface and are typically used under the head of a bolt or nut.
The chemical, mechanical, and dimensional requirements of these washers comply with ASTM F436 specifications. They are fully hardened or carburized to enhance strength and durability. Compared to standard ASTM F844 flat washers, clipped hardened washers are smaller in size but offer superior load-bearing performance for structural applications.
