Load Indicating Washers (LIWs) are used primarily to ensure accurate bolt tensioning during the installation of A325 and A490 structural bolts. Both Squirter™ Direct Tension Indicators (DTIs) and Standard DTIs are manufactured in accordance with ASTM F959 specifications.
LIWs are also available for use with other bolt grades, making them a reliable solution for achieving correct preload in a wide range of structural fastening applications.
