Anchor Rods
ASTM A36 is primarily a raw steel specification and is therefore considered incomplete when used as a fastener specification on its own.
Anchor rods—also known as anchor bolts, concrete embeds, or foundation bolts—are used in concrete foundations to support light poles, traffic signals, structural steel columns, highway sign structures, industrial equipment, and many other structural applications.
Manufacturing
7EBB manufactures anchor rods in diameters ranging from 1/2″ to 6″. Our anchor rod assemblies meet most ASTM specifications, including but not limited to A354, A449, and ASTM F1554 Grades 36, 55, and 105.
We perform light fabrication, anchor plate production, pipe sleeving, and welding in-house, enabling us to ensure fast turnaround times without compromising on quality. Anchor rods are available in both plain steel and hot-dip galvanized finishes, with all manufacturing processes, including galvanizing, completed in-house for full quality control.
Both square and rectangular anchor plates are produced on site. At 7EBB, we can punch and shear plates up to 1″ thick, allowing us to meet special customer requirements while delivering cost-effective solutions.
Stock Anchor Rods
7EBB stocks a range of anchor rods in various diameters, lengths, and grades. However, in most cases, anchor rods are custom engineered for specific projects, and repetitive sizes are not used frequently enough to justify full stocking programs. The anchor rods we inventory are standard products for multiple Departments of Transportation and are commonly used for light poles, traffic signal poles, and overhead sign structures.
If your project requires an anchor rod with dimensions that are identical or similar to a stocked size, we can provide immediate shipment. Please note that any variation in size or grade from the engineered design must be approved by the project engineer prior to ordering.
